GEAR

Apparel System & Limited Edition Artifacts

Overview

Apparel and physical objects created for NVIDIA events and the internal employee gear store. This work spans limited-edition pieces, seasonal knits, and labels that set a higher standard for how the brand shows up in physical form.

Role

Creative direction, design (select pieces).
Approach

Led creative direction across multiple apparel initiatives, balancing speed with judgment and brand consistency.

Initial sample for t-shirts made for GTC.

Designed select t-shirt graphics hands-on, including a small number that used AI-assisted exploration, while keeping the overall focus on wearability, production realities, and quality.

Christmas sweater with new label for knits. Design collaboration with Linda Kuo.

Defined a universal apparel label to bring cohesion across future pieces in the employee gear store, and directed seasonal and limited edition items — including a holiday sweater — with attention to fit, fabric weight, and finishes. Early production tradeoffs informed clearer standards moving forward.

New silicon label for t-shirts.

‘Pocket Agent’ t-shirt design.

Concept for GTC Paris exclusive item; final design by Hye in Chung.

Outcome
Internal gear that employees genuinely wanted to wear, with clearer expectations established for quality, consistency, and brand expression across future apparel.
